Nayanthara, Pooja, Sreeleela, Meenakshi: One Target for All

Top leading heroines are preparing to make a strong impact at the theatres this Sankranti. Many of these actresses are hoping to bounce back with solid hits.

Nayanthara plays the female lead opposite Chiranjeevi in Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu. She has been waiting for success for a long time. After Jawan, most of her films failed to perform well at the box office. This includes her woman centric films on OTT. Because of this, she is placing strong hopes on Chiranjeevi’s film. Nayanthara rarely participates in aggressive promotional activities. She has been very active this time. Her unusual enthusiasm clearly shows how badly she wants a hit.

Meenakshi Chaudhary scored a success earlier this year with Sankranthiki Vastunnam. Most of the credit went to Aishwarya Rajesh. As a result, Meenakshi did not receive the recognition she expected. She is now looking for a solo commercial hit with Naveen Polishetty’s Anagananaga Oka Raju. This film is releasing for Sankranti as well.

Nidhhi Agerwal, who has been facing continuous failures, hoped that Hari Hara Veera Mallu would change her luck. That film emerged as a colossal disaster. She shifted all her expectations to The Raja Saab. The same project marks Malavika Mohanan’s debut in Telugu. She is also not going through a very good phase. She is hoping to establish herself strongly in Tollywood with Raja Saab.

Dimple Hayathi, who has been idle since Ramabanam, is pinning her hopes on Ravi Teja’s Bharta Mahashayulaku Vignapthi. The film is directed by Kishore Tirumala. She expects that success here will bring her more opportunities.

Meanwhile, Pooja Hegde returns to theatres with Vijay’s Tamil film Jananayagan. After the pandemic, her films have turned out to be epic flops. She hopes this film will help her regain momentum. She also hopes to bounce back into the spotlight. Sreeleela hopes her film Parasakthi with Sivakarthikeyan turns out to be a solid success. She also hopes it gives her career a boost, which is badly hit because of flops like Mass Jathara, Robinhood, and Skanda.

Overall, this Sankranti has become a crucial turning point for many actresses. Each one is looking for a strong hit to revive or reinforce her position in the industry.
