Adivi Sesh, who built credibility with a few good films, is coming back after a gap of three years with Dacoit this weekend. The trailer has received a decent response.
But during promotions with a YouTube channel, Sesh triggered a storm. One of his statements has now led to negativity among young heroes.
Sesh said he met a hero at a producer’s birthday party, where the hero sarcastically told him, “Sesh, you are also making a film as big as mine.” Sesh felt this was an attempt to put him down.

That clip has now gone viral. Social media users started guessing names, dragging actors like Vijay Deverakonda, Nani, Nikhil Siddhartha, Teja Sajja, Vishwak Sen and Nithiin into it, calling them arrogant and assuming one of them made the comment.
One such young hero, in an anonymous conversation with us, said he felt extremely bad. He clarified he had nothing to do with the incident, but social media still dragged his name into it. He also felt bad that Sesh’s comment ended up creating unnecessary negativity around other young heroes, including him.
When asked why he didn’t reach out to Sesh for clarification, he said, “What’s the point when the damage is already done? Why should I deal with all this nuisance for no reason?”

This situation could have been easily avoided. But now, just before the release, it has turned into fodder for trolls, targeting fellow actors for no real reason.
