Heroines do have to endure certain things like getting into the skin of a character and perform intimate scenes as if it’s not their body. When Rashi Khanna was comparatively new to the industry, she didn’t know how to react to the intimate scenes with her co-stars.
While doing an intimate scene in her Bollywood debut ‘Madras Cafe’, she knew that it was only acting but Rashi also was aware that it was herself in bed with a man, and behaving the character wasn’t enough. So, she shared her fears with her mother.
The actress’ mother didn’t sleep when she was told about Rashi’s intimate scene in ‘Madras Cafe’. After finishing the scene, Rashi Khanna ran into her vanity van and then, cried. Much later in her career, she had to do another intimate scene with Vijay Deverakonda for ‘World Famous Lover‘.
By then, Rashi knew how to isolate herself from the character and then felt the numbness that portraying Yamini’s character required. She also lauded Vijay Deverakonda who promised her to make as comfortable as possible while shooting for that scene. Quite an experience for any actress and it’s not as easy as it appears to be, right?
