Actress Shriya has been roped into RRR (Ranam Ruthiram Roudram). She has confirmed the same and will join the shoot once the international flights resume.
Shriya will play a small yet integral role in the movie. She gets paired opposite Ajay Devgn in the film. They will be part of the flashback that appears in the period venture. Previously, a different actress was under consideration, but finally, the makers have zeroed in on her.
Director SS Rajamouli, is meanwhile, doing all he can to get RRR back on sets. He is devising various plans and schedules, keeping the artists and current situation in mind. The shooting after the lockdown is going to resume in Hyderabad, at the specially erected set in the Aluminium factory. Ram Charan and Jr NTR will be part of the shoot.
Alia Bhatt, who is yet to join the sets, will also feature prominently in the upcoming schedules. Arrangements are being made for continuous shooting as and when the permissions are given. The availability of dates is also taken into consideration.
DVV Danayya produces RRR. It is the biggest budget movie ever in Telugu cinema. RRR will have a pan-India release in July 2021, according to sources. An official confirmation is awaited, though. Until then Sankranthi 2021 remains the ‘official’ date.
