You might have seen Sreeleela flaunting her moves in Pusha 2’s Kissik song.
But despite being a part of a hit chartbuster film, the song created no buzz. In comparison to Samantha’s song ‘Oo Antava Mawa…Oo Oo Antava’ in the first part of Pushpa, Kissik fell flat.
No one talked about the song or the actress who performed it.
Sreeleela started her career with the film Dhamaka. It became a super hit and fans loved her performance in the film. The film gave her a jump to start her career.
Her popularity was such that she instantly signed a lot more projects.
However, most of her films after that, including Skanda and Aadikeshava, did not do well with the audience. They were all a flop.
Her instant high dropped as quickly as it rose and fans started to call her the one-hit wonder.
One might have thought that after being a part of a hit film like Pushpa 2, she would have gotten another boost, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.
However, Pushpa 2 did help her get noticed, and she got offers for some promising projects.
She plans to make her debut in the Tamil industry with acclaimed director Sudha Kongara. The director is celebrated for her compelling storytelling and impactful cinema, with acclaimed films like Soorarai Pottru and Irudhi Suttru.
This director-actor collab might be a promising one.
She has also signed for two films with the Akkineni brothers in the lead roles.
The first film will be directed by Karthik Dandu, starring Naga Chaitanya.
In the second film, she is said to play alongside Akhil Akkineni, where she is the lead with another actress.
After Pushpa 2, the actress is trying to get back into the game, ready to deliver some promising performances. Fans can only hope that 2025 is a better year for the actress.
