Looking back on the last fortnight in Bollywood trade, quite a few movies have been released in the duration. Of them some have done well while others haven’t.

For instance, the sex comedy Mastizaade starring Sunny Leone came out this week with reviews of mixed variety. The film not only has Sunny Leone in a dual role but also Vir Das and Tusshar Kapoor as leads. Looking at Mastizaade’s earnings on the opening day, it is third highest as compared to all of Sunny’s films with Rs 5.59 crores of collections.
Meanwhile, R Madhavan’s bilingual film “Saala Khadoos,” Irudhi Suttru in Tamil, did not not do very well at the box office on the opening day despite largely positive reviews. The film which is based on boxing and has Madhavan and newcomer Ritika Singh as the protagonist, earned only Rs 1.28 crore from the Hindi version and Rs 91 lakh from the Tamil version.
