Fans of Ram Charan’s upcoming film, Game Changer, are growing impatient due to a lack of updates and delays.
The film’s crew, including the music composer Thaman, had hinted that the second single from the movie would be released by the end of August. However, with August almost over, there is still no sign of the song.
Initially, Dil Raju had announced that Game Changer would be released around Christmas. Given the number of films scheduled for that time, there were doubts about meeting this release date.
However, there’s a silver lining for Game Changer. Aamir Khan’s film, Sitaare Zameen Par, which was also slated for a Christmas release, has been postponed. This change means that Game Changer now does not have much competition at the box office, especially in the Hindi markets.
The Hindi market is critical for the success of a Pan India film. For example, Kalki 2898 AD recently reached the 1000-crore mark because of the support from Hindi collections. Similarly, Pushpa 2 and Devara are targeting the Hindi market for their box-office success.
With Sitaare Zameen Par now delayed, Game Changer directed by Shankar, has a better chance to succeed, especially during the busy Christmas season.
This postponement provides a welcome opportunity for Ram Charan’s film, which has faced multiple delays and has been in production for several years. If everything goes as planned, Game Changer could finally make its Christmas release.
