Suriya wants to work in a straight Telugu film

One of the popular actors of Tamil cinema, Suriya is not a name anymore in the industry. He has certainly become a brand. He has also managed to carve a niche for himself in Bollywood with his debut performance in Rakhtcharitra. In Telugu, however, unlike his brother Karthi, he has not made his mark in Tollywood yet.

After seeing his brother earn some popularity in Telugu industry, Suriya is seriously considering of doing a straight Telugu film soon. And in all probability, if the Telugu film idea doesn’t take off, he would at least like to dub in his own voice for his Telugu dubbed film. Karthi is already doing it, not just in films but even in Telugu advertisements.

Now, this certainly leaves the brother in a state of competition. Will they battle it out to find a place in an already populated Telugu industry?
