Chatty, honest, and with a great humility of character, Rana Daggubati a self-confessed film lover. With his latest flick Krishnam Vande Jagadguram days from its release, Rana is all aflutter with nerves, apparent during his talks about his latest film and more.

The film is centered around Rana who is a promoter of Surabhi Theatre and travels to Bellary from Hyderabad to act in a play. “This is a huge film in genre and budget. I play the role of a theatre artiste called B.Tech Babu. It’s been a challenging and creatively satisfying role for me. Right now, there is a great deal of interest in our roots. As actors, our strongest influences lie in theatre. This is a way of honouring where we come from and heralding theatrical genius,” said Daggubati.




The film is set to hit the silver screens on the 30th of November, releasing across 1000 screens in a bold move for any film.
