The Paradise: Can Nani Finally Crack the Pan-India Market?

Nani promotes The Paradise across India

Nani is leaving no stone unturned to position his upcoming film The Paradise as a massive pan-India film. The actor is reportedly planning an aggressive expansion beyond the Telugu market and is confident that the film has the potential to connect strongly with audiences across both North and South India.

In the past, Nani invested significant effort into promoting films such as Dasara, Hi Nanna, and HIT 3 in multiple languages. He spent weeks traveling across various cities and actively participated in extensive promotional campaigns. However, despite those efforts, the films did not achieve the level of commercial success outside the Telugu states that the team had initially hoped for.

With The Paradise, Nani and the makers appear determined to change that narrative.

Industry sources suggest that the actor firmly believes the film’s content has a much broader appeal and can resonate with audiences across different regions of the country. As a result, the team is reportedly preparing an ambitious promotional strategy designed specifically for the pan-India market.

Reports indicate that the makers have allocated a substantial budget exclusively for promotions. The plan is said to include extensive campaigns across multiple languages, with a particular focus on the Hindi market while also targeting Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam audiences.

The team is also reportedly planning a record-scale release in Hindi and other languages, signaling their confidence in the film’s nationwide potential.

Directed by Srikanth Odela and produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri, The Paradise marks another significant collaboration between Nani and the filmmaker after the success of Dasara. Actress Kayadu Lohar plays the female lead, while popular composer Anirudh is handling the music.

The film was originally expected to release in August. However, following its postponement, the makers are now preparing to announce a new release date soon.

Whether the pan India strategy succeeds where previous efforts fell short remains to be seen, but one thing is clear: Nani is treating The Paradise as a career-defining project that could catapult him into the league of tier 1 stars.
