Things aren’t looking too good for Rashmika Mandanna these days. She was looking forward to becoming a top actress in Bollywood after the Pushpa wave in the Hindi belts. She also bagged some biggies like Good Bye and Mission Majnu but none of them clicked.
Now according to some latest reports, Rashmika’s to-be-announced film with Shahid Kapoor has been shelved. The film was a comedy entertainer and was to be directed by the ‘blockbuster’ director Anees Bazmee of Bhool Bhulaiya 2 fame.
But due to ‘creative’ differences between the actor and director, the film has now been reportedly shelved. It is a big blow to Rashmika’s career who was trying to set her foot in Bollywood.
She now has only Animal and Pushpa 2 to reckon with and both are male-dominated films. We will have to see what kind of impact Rashmika creates with these films and carve a path for herself in the Indian film industry.
