While Bollywood celebrities from Hema Malini to Paresh Rawal among others have themselves got vaccinated and created awareness, scenarios were different back here.
Nagarjuna became the first Tollywood actor to get his first Covaxin jab. He was the first one to come out publicly and acknowledge getting vaccinated. On the other side, fans are left guessing if they did not take the jab or did not make it public after getting vaccinated. Sources in the know say that none of them got vaccinated out of the fear of possible side effects or complacency after the cases reduced drastically after the first wave.
