TDP supremo Chandrababu’s arrest is one of the most debated topics in the Telugu states. In accordance, one would expect Telugu film industry stars to react to the series of highly controversial incidents preceding and succeeding the arrest.
However, film industry people are maintaining a strategic silence now as barring Raghavendra Rao, not a single Tollywood person has reacted about the atrocity.
Veteran producer Ashwini Dutt, who is a very vocal supporter of TDP is also staying silent now. He hasn’t shared a media note or made a media appearance regarding the arrest of CBN.
Pawan Kalyan is the only man who is actively condemning the incident, but given his political affiliation, it is a given that he reacts.
But for the rest of the folk, this strategic silence has become a convenient option. Perhaps they fear that Jagan might come back to haunt them if they speak in favor of Chandrababu. But such fear can only empower the oppressors.
Jagan actively oppressed the film industry with ticket prices not too long ago. This came after Chandrababu gave a free run to the film industry and let them prosper. But not many are acknowledging the good work done by CBN and instead fearing oppression by Jagan, which goes against the fabric of democracy.
After taking a look at this, a few netizens are commenting that perhaps Tollywood really does deserve the Jagan-mark harsh treatment.
