The traditional bull taming sport in Tamil Nadu, Jalli Kattu has recently drawn the attention of people National Wide when Supreme Court interfered into the issue. It was approached for banning of the sport by few organizations.

Actor Dhanush was felicitated by one of those organizations Peta, which made many local Tamil people angry. They felt he too was on their side and was in favor of banning the sport. However Dhanush has immediately clarified regarding the issue.
The star actor said that he supports the sport and his association with the organization was for an entirely different cause. With Dhanush clearing the issue things have settled down now.
