Jawan director Atlee recently revealed that his film has garnered Hollywood attention and offers following a standout that features Shah Rukh Khan’s character lighting a cigar with sparks generated during an action sequence.
Atlee said Hollywood professionals at the film’s screening were impressed, especially by this scene, and expressed interest in working with him in Hollywood. Atlee also revealed that he has plans to send Jawan to the Oscars.
Despite being a huge blockbuster, a section of moviegoers are slamming Jawan for being a copy of several Tamil and Telugu films from the early 90s and 2000s. Now, Atlee’s pompous statements like these are inviting more trolls.
People on social media are saying that Atlee should be happy that Jawan is such a huge blockbuster, thanks to the stardom of Shah Rukh Khan. He should feel lucky that he escaped despite delivering such mediocre content in the name of Jawan.
Instead of making such ridiculous statements, he should concentrate on coming up with something original and exciting for his next film.
