Aamir Khan has announced his plans of making a two or three part Mahabharata now and fans are excited about it now.
But there is a probability that there will be another adaptation of Mahabharata now. S.S. Rajamouli has good chances of working on a movie based on Mahabharata now.

Rajamouli has shared his enthusiasm about making a Mahabharata multiple times as well. His father and legendary screenplay writer Vijayendra Prasad had said that Aamir had approached him for a screenplay but did not share any excitement further.
So there is a good chance now that there will be one Mahabharata in Bollywood now under the production and supervision of Aamir Khan and there will be one in Tollywood from S.S. Rajamouli.

There were previously rumours that Mahesh Babu will be playing Krishna in Rajamouli’s Mahabharata and Aamir Khan will probably play Krishna too in his own film.
It would have been better if there were only one big movie on Mahabharata but two visionaries from two separate industries bringing the stories will be a treat for cinephiles as well.
