Unnecessary Attention For Vijay In Hyderabad?

Unnecessary Attention For Vijay In HyderabadTamil hero Vijay has a decent market in Telugu states. The same is set to be explored with Varasudu, which is being given a wide release in the Telugu states, on par with Telugu biggies Veera Simha Reddy and Waltair Veerayya.

Now, as a ground preparation activity for Varasudu, a special show of Adirindi is set to be screened at Sudharshan 35MM on the 4th of December, marking 30 years of Vijay in the film industry. This is more to keep him in the minds of the Telugu audience as Varasudu is up for release next Sankranthi.

But the thing here is that Vijay is not at all bothered about the Telugu market. Not once has he come to Hyderabad to promote his films, despite them returning decent revenues.

Usually, when heroes identify other language audiences are welcoming them, they tend to be more inclined towards promoting their films there. But Vijay never does anything of this sort for any of his films.

For a hero who doesn’t acknowledge the robust Telugu market, orchestrating special re-releases and shows on an occasion that is insignificant for the Telugu audience is as preposterous as it can get. Why should the Telugu audience validate an other language hero while he has no interest in this market?
