Upasana has been conferred with UAE Golden Visa. Sharing her Golden Visa on Twitter, Upasana called it as a Christmas gift and shared wise words which goes, “This Christmas I received A gift that reiterates what I was taught at the @IndiaExpo2020 “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam”-the world is one family Happy to get my UAE #GoldenVisa Heart & soul is Indian with immense respect for all nations. I’m officially a global citizen”.
The Golden Visa stands for 10 years which allows the foreign citizens to study, work and live in the nation and also allows them to have 100 percent ownership of their business. The 10-year visa includes people who have AED (United Arab Emirates Dirham) 10 million deposit, while the five-year visa comes with a deposit of no less than AED 5 million.
During her Dubai 2020 Expo, Upasana drew attention with her virtual meet-up with PM Narendra Modi. Upasana dons the hat of Vice-Chairman of CSR Apollo Hospitals Group and she is also the Managing Director of URLife.
