Chiranjeevi Vishwambhara Vs Anushka Shetty Ghaati

The promotions for Chiranjeevi’s fantasy film Vishwambhara have not gone well so far. The teaser disappointed fans and received heavy trolling online. The negative response was so strong that it reportedly led to a delay in the film’s release.

Among Telugu films facing delays, Vishwambhara is getting the most negative buzz. There have been no new updates from the team. Meanwhile, progress on other films is making this one look worse in comparison.

Now, with signs that Anushka’s Ghaati will release soon, Vishwambhara is back in focus. Both movies are produced by UV Creations. Ghaati is now set to release on July 11, after being delayed from April due to post-production issues.

The original plan was to release Vishwambhara in July. But with Ghaati coming mid-July, it’s unlikely the production house will release two big films so close together.

A new date is uncertain, and August is already crowded. That means the film may now come in September or later.

This delay could hurt even more. Chiranjeevi’s next film with Anil Ravipudi is planned for January 2026.

If Vishwambhara releases in September, there will be only 3-4 months between the two films. That could impact both films, especially since the Anil Ravipudi project already has better buzz than Vishwambhara.

At this point, Vishwambhara needs a big turning point — something fresh, impactful, and emotionally strong that can wipe away the bad teaser impression and bring back public interest.

Also, the film should not be delayed too much. As mentioned, the more it gets delayed, the more damage is done and the more audience interest fades.
