Chiranjeevi’s birthday was expected to bring some much-needed clarity on Vishwambhara. Instead, the makers have left fans with another question: When is this film actually coming?
On August 22, UV Creations shared a special birthday poster along with an OST, wishing the “mighty Megastar” and teasing that audiences will soon witness “Mega Mass Beyond the Universe” with Vishwambhara.
The new OST, composed by Gowra Hari, sounds promising and the poster has certainly given fans something fresh to discuss. But there was one thing everyone was desperately waiting for and did not get.
A release date.
After waiting for years, fans were hoping that Chiranjeevi’s birthday would finally bring an official theatrical date. Instead, the team once again used the word “soon” without saying exactly when the film will arrive.
That has understandably frustrated a section of Mega fans. After nearly three years, patience is clearly running out.
There were expectations that Vishwambhara could finally target October 16, 2026, around the Dussehra season. That possibility now looks doubtful because the birthday update did not even mention a date.
Chiranjeevi-Bobby Kolli’s film has already locked January 13, 2027, as its release date and even revealed its title, while Vishwambhara continues to remain stuck in the “coming soon” zone.
The initial hype around Vishwambhara took a massive hit after the first teaser, and the prolonged delay has only made matters worse. The team may genuinely be working hard to deliver the VFX they want. But at some point, the audience needs more than hollow assurances. They need a date.
For now, whether Vishwambhara finally arrives this year or gets pushed further remains unknown.
