Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Daku Maharaaj is releasing for Sankranthi. Ahead of the movie release, M9 News Journalist Nishant sat with the director Bobby to discuss about the film.
Bobby revealed how Producer Naga Vamsi approached him for doing a film even before Waltair Veerayya and how the film happened.
He said Balakrishna will be seen in three different variations in the film.
We asked him if Balakrishna watched Waltair Veerayya and his opinion about the film.
Interestingly, he revealed how Balakrishna’s daughter and son-in-law, Bharath heard the script first and their inputs about the film.
Bobby surprised saying how Bharath has very good command over cinema and how his inputs and ruthless feedback helped the film.
“He is one person who I feared coming to the Edit Suite. He gives feedback without any hesitation and his judgment is very good,” Bobby said.
He also spoke at length about Balakrishna’s son Mokshagna and why he thinks he will work for films.
Bobby also divulged details about the Dacoit episode of the film and said it will be about 30 minutes in the film.
We asked him how difficult it is to convince Balakrishna to leave his regular DOP, C Ram Prasad and bring in Jailer DOP.
We also asked him if it is difficult to communicate his vision to non-Telugu DOP and the two editors of the film.”
“You are promising Hollywood level visuals and your producer is talking about Jailer and Vikram,” we asked.
