In its opening weekend, Radhe Shyam has performed decently. However, the declining trend was clearly visible and it meant only one thing – staring at huge losses.
Radhe Shyam has collected a little above 47 Cr in Telugu states during the first weekend. It is a decent number, but considering the hikes in place in the two Telugu states, that’s a disappointment. For comparison, Saaho has made nearly 10 Cr more in the same time. Even the recently released biggies are slightly higher and that too with lower prices in Andhra Pradesh.
As mentioned previously, the recovery total for Telugu states for Radhe Shyam is more than 105 Cr. Given the fact that Radhe Shyam hasn’t even crossed the halfway mark for the weekend, things are going to be far more difficult going ahead.
Already, the early shows of Radhe Shyam have opened poorly on the fourth day. If the rest of the day doesn’t improve, Radhe Shyam will be in for a record-breaking loss in Telugu cinema. We will get further clarity on that in a day.
