Why Jr NTR Can’t Afford To Rest?

After a very long wait, Jr NTR has got a hit Janatha Garage that showcases his caliber as a star. It went on to get the second biggest opening of all time and finally settled as the third biggest hit of all time behind Baahubali and Srimanthudu. So what’s next? This is the question on everyone’s mind and the star seems to have found an answer in Trivikram Srinivas.

One must say a film with Trivikram Srinivas, right now is the best that Jr NTR can get. The combo is crazy enough to generate record openings and with right talk, it could be biggest non-Baahubali hit, both locally and internationally. Unfortunately, that’s not the case here as Trivikram Srinivas is going to be busy with Pawan Kalyan film.

Can Tarak afford to wait till next year when the said film of Trivikram Srinivas is completed? Now, that’s an absolutely no as would only increase the risk of getting a surefire hit. The reason is simple if he takes such long gap and by the time the Trivikram film releases, as many as nine big films would have released including the sequel of Baahubali. Janatha Garage more likely than not would be displaced from its position.

Also, post the release of Baahubali 2 the market would be expanding further what with the hike in rates and new theaters getting added. The bottom-line is Jr NTR will be again left behind and he has to be on the mark with just one film. Now, if the star does a film in between with even a half decent script he is likely to get the openings coming after Janatha Garage and also have one more film somewhere in the top 10. It would help nullify the impact of few of those nine top hero films.

Not to be overtly negative but what if Trivikram Srinivas ends up disappointing? All the hard work of past few movies would be undone. Keeping all this in mind we think it’s better if the star does a film before doing one with Trivikram Srinivas.
