The present talk in cine circles is on Mahesh’s partiality towards Sukumar. It is introspection time for not only Mahesh Babu but also many big film makers and big heroes in Tollywood. When two back to back movies tank miserably at the box-office incurring heavy losses on the producers, it’s high time that they think on the selection of the stories and the development of the plot and script.
According to the gossip talk, Mahesh is literally fuming on Srinu Vaitla, he almost shut doors on him and not even responding to the director says the buzz. Even before Aagadu, Mahesh’s 1-Nenokkadine disappointed regarding box-office performance. But Sukumar didn’t mete such disrespect from the star.
Th reason behind Mahesh showing such partiality is very much evident. Sukumar’s story didn’t reach the common audience because of it’s ahead of the times flavour. There were no allegations on Sukumar for plagiarism or routine stuff. It’s clear that Sukumar worked out on the plot and kep it intriguing throughout. But in case of ‘Aagadu’ and Vaitla it is the other way round. The story seemed to be an amalgamation of two superhit movies more. It is introspection time for film makers.
