Not many can debate the fact that Pushpa 2 has the sequel advantage in the pan-Indian belt. The Hindi audience in particular are anticipating the film, considering the kind of reach the first part got here.

Coming to the point, strangely, Pushpa 2 is taking longer than Baahubali 2 to hit the big screens.

Incidentally, the gap between Baahubali 1 and 2 was just two years. But in the case of Pushpa, the first part was released in December 2021, and the second part which is announced for release in December 2024, is still in production.

When Rajamouli could execute the biggest project in the history of Indian cinema in a span of three years, Sukumar took a good three years for Pushpa 2, a non-big event film is leading to adverse talk.

Allu Arjun has essentially spent 5 years at the peak of his career for Pushpa and this isn’t what his fans were expecting.

In fact, a bunch of Bunny fans are tweeting that he must have gone with happy go easy films like Ala Vaikunthapurramulo which were executed in under a year and still made big money at the box office.

For Sukumar to undo all this bad press and negativity from fans, he must deliver a winning product that fires from all quarters.
