But people find it difficult to pronounce her surname along with her name and hence she is okay to be addressed using her name Taapsee. However, she wants to change the spelling of her name. In South, Taapsee is never addressed using her surname. But in Bollywood, it’s conventional to address actors and technicians using the surname.
Though Taapsee hails from North and a proper Delhi belle, she is considered as a South import as she began her career with South movies. She did quite a number of movies in both Telugu and Tamil and only later got Bollywood offers.
