‘Saaho‘ has vacated 15th August independence day slot and with that two small movies have got the chance to seemlessly occupy the slot. Adivi Sesh’s ‘Evaru’ and Sharwanand’s ‘Ranarangam’ have occupied the spot.
The latter was directed by Sudheer Varma who had s good start with ‘Sawmy Ra Ra’ but delivered flop-average films after that.
But, when it comes to Adivi Sesh, the actor has proved that he has the acumen to intervene with the process of filmmaking and also achieve good results.
Right from ‘Kshanam’, Adivi Sesh carved a niche for himself and with ‘Goodachari’, he cemented that image. That means he would be dominating director Sudheer Varma and his film.
Nonetheless, there is Sharwanand for ‘Ranarangam’ coming with a makeover of sorts both looks and characterisation wise.
So, his movie can’t be written off. With no biggie in the vicinity, both movies will get a fair chance to deliver. Would it be Sesh or Sharwa?
