Boyapati Srinu’s latest film, Skanda, starring Ram Pothineni and Sreeleela, has turned out to be a mediocre fare at the box office. Boyapati suffered a lot of criticism for the film being unrealistic.
According to the latest reports, Boyapati is committed to doing his next with Suriya. He also expressed that Skanda 2 and Akhanda 2 are also in the pipeline. Additionally, Boyapati has also confirmed that he would be collaborating with Allu Arjun for a huge action film.
Allu Arjun, after Pushpa, is no longer a hero confined to the Telugu states. He is right there at the top with the biggest stars in the country.
Despite Skanda not doing too well, Boyapati Srinu has not lost his market. His audience is intact. He is a solid mass film director but his limit is right now limited to the Telugu states. He is a local mass director and Allu Arjun has gone a bit beyond his reach now.
Allu Arjun is in talks with the biggest directors in the country and with each film he would want to take his films and stardom to the next level.
It would be interesting to see if Allu Arjun keeps his promise and accommodates a film with Boyapati Srinu at this junction of his career. Also, it would be a Herculean task for Boyapati to convince Allu Arjun with his script.
