Let’s weigh the probability of ‘Kabali’ eating into the collections of ‘Sultan’. Since ‘Kabali’ is basically a regional film, it’s universal appeal can’t be speculated before the film’s release. But it is a Rajinikanth’s movie and hence may interest fans across India as they are waiting since long for his style and action.
‘Sultan’ has proved that Salman Khan is currently the real box-office Sultan. Sultan collections have definitely dropped but we can not expect it to be as sensational as it had been in the first week. If the word of mouth on ‘Kabali’ turns out to be too good, then we can easily guess what damage can ‘Kabali’ do to ‘Sultan’. However, there is no urgent threat from Rajini for Salman.
