Keerthy Suresh made her big Bollywood debut with Baby John. The film turned out to be the biggest disaster of the year with not even 25% recovery of investment. Keerthy’s performance turned out to be an embarrassment, that’s another issue.
And now Keerthy in a recent interview revealed that it was Samantha who recommended her name for Baby John.
Keerthy was initially not sure of playing the character that was originally done by Samantha in Theri. However, Samantha said she had confidence in her and supported her throughout the making of Baby John.
After Baby John’s disastrous fate at the box office, Bollywood’s doors have been almost closed for Keerthy now.
Keerthy was supposed to make her debut with Ajay Devgn’s Maidaan but due to some date issues, she had to quit the film. That film turned out to be a disaster and Keerthy was happy that she narrowly escaped from it. Then Baby John came to Keerthy Suresh and on Samantha’s suggestion she accepted it.
Now that Baby John became a disaster her career in Bollywood is almost over. Will she blame Samantha for it? Will be ever able to forgive Samantha for her most blunder suggestion?
Baby John is an official remake of Vijay’s Theri. The Hindi version is directed by Kalees and produced by Atlee. The film was made on a budget of 160 crores and till now the film has done a business of 30 crores net and will be out from the theaters within a week.
