The success of the South Indian film industry has attracted a lot of actors from Bollywood to break boundaries and join other industries.
In the last few years, a lot of Bollywood actors have been joining hands with the South stars. One of them is Saif Ali Khan.

An upcoming project of the actor is “Spirit”, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. He is reportedly playing an antagonist alongside Kareena Kapoor, with Prabhas in the lead.
This cop-based action thriller is said to redefine the genre in Indian cinema.

But can Reddy rekindle Saif’s failing journey in pan-Indian cinema?
He made his debut in the industry with Ravan in Adipurush opposite Prabhas. Fans thought of it as a very comical portrayal of the character and didn’t take him seriously. His performance was extremely decent and was trolled by the fans.

His second film as a villain was Devara opposite Jr NTR. While the movie worked fine, there was no scope for Saif’s character to shine.
Spirit is going to be his third film as an antagonist and fans are sceptical about it. Said is said to play a ruthless villain with Kareena, both of them playing a married criminal couple in the film.
Despite being an exceptional actor, Saif has been facing a lot of hate from the audience for his recent films.
Reddy rekindled Bobby Deol’s career in Animal, where fans were surprised by his transformation as an anti-hero. Will he be able to do the same with Saif?
Will Reddy be able to extract the exceptional actor within Saif and help his performance be at par with Prabhas? For the hero’s impact to be strong, the villain has to be ruthless enough for the protagonist to shine.
Fans can only hope that Reddy helps to make the Prabhas-Saif disaster combo into a hit one.
