Saneep Vanga

After captivating audiences with his versatile roles in films like Baahubali and Kalki 2898 AD, Prabhas is all set to get into the shows of another avatar in his upcoming film Spirit.

The film, helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, will witness the actor as a completely ruthless, raw, and unapologetic character which the audience has never seen before.

Spirit is expected to be a hard-hitting action drama with psychological undertones, where Prabhas will reportedly play a cop who doesn’t play by the rules. It means we won’t get to see the romantic or idealistic hero in Prabhas we’re used to.

Instead, we will see a man driven by obsession, rage, and an unflinching moral code that blurs the line between justice and vengeance.

Spirit has already made headlines in the past few days, not because of Prabhas getting roped in as the lead, but for the chaos regarding the female lead.

Earlier, Deepika Padukone was supposed to be a part of the film but she walked out due to creative differences and remuneration demands.

Now, Tripti Dimri reportedly has replaced Deepika in the same. The actress has faced the heat off late for accepting anything and everything in the name of projects.

The latest example was Vicky Vidya Ka Wo Wala Video, where Tripti was trolled for awkward expressions and weird steps in the song ‘Mere Mehboob.’

Whether she wins the hearts of the audience with her acting in Spirit remains to be seen.

Speaking of Prabhas, the actor had a good run with films like Salaar and Kalki 2898 AD. However, it’s been a long time since we have seen him in an aggressive avatar. Although he did some action in Salaar, he had hardly any dialogue in the film.

The same case is with Kalki, where he could not do much about his role. Everyone remembers how Arshad Warsi called the actor a joker due to his avatar in the film.

If we look a little more back, even Radhe Shyam was not a good film of Prabhas. It’s high time the actor returns with a never-to-be-forgotten role like the one in Baahubali and claims his place as a versatile star again.
