Kannada Cinema produced its biggest blockbuster in the form of KGF and there have been several films that followed this template later.
Interestingly enough, Yash’s next film, Toxic also appears to be falling under the same category now. The same can be understood if we look at the teaser of the film that was released today.

On the occasion of Yash’s birthday today, the teaser of Toxic has been released. By the looks of it, this film also has an overwhelming influence of KGF.
Right from the visuals, colour palette to the slow-motion shots, including Yash’s looks, everything reminds us of KGF. The bearded look of Yash is also very much in tune with be famous Rocky Bhai look.

There’s the effort to make sure the presentation has a lavish vibe and foreign models were used to create this aesthetic. We don’t get a glimpse of the story or the premise though. This is just a slow motion glimpse of Yash from the film. Yash appears to be playing a negative shade protagonist character again.
The film is directed by Geethu Mohandas and produced by KVN Productions.

Though a few might complain that there are far too many references to KGF, this could partially work in favour of the film as it will be easier to find the target audience. For now, netizens are labelling the film as unofficial KGF 3 after watching the vibe shown in the teaser.
