Santosh Soban entered the film industry as the son of Late director Soban (Varsham director). He made his debut with Golconda High School and went on to a handful of films.
He bumped into many failures for various reasons. Things further went wrong as his last few films released with a short gap. There is an overkill of films and they ended up as failures. So, Santosh’s career is at cross roads.
Now, he is in Vyjayanthi compound. Swapna Cinema, the makers of Yevade Subrahmanyam, Mahanati and Sita Ramam are trying to give a new dimension to his character.

The film, Anni Manchi Sakunamule releases on May 18th. More than anything else, the goodwill earned by Swapna Cinema will help the movie more at the box office along with the content.
They also released a new video ‘Straight From The Heart ft. Santosh Soban’ in which Santosh is seen narrating his story – the story of his father, mother, his entry into films, and ended up saying it will be Anni Manchi Sakunamule from this summer.
The video has a soothing music and with Santosh’s story, it is evident they are trying to show Santosh’s story erasing his track record and ensure the focus is on Santosh and the movie to come.
If Santosh gets a hit here, it will be a lifeline for him and Swapna Cinema will be credit with pulling off a hit even in difficult circumstances.
