Directed by Karuna Kumar, Matka is Varun Tej’s most ambitious project to date, showcasing him in distinct looks. Set against a period backdrop spanning 24 years, the story revolves around a Matka King, played by Varun Tej. The film is produced by Vyra Entertainments and SRT Entertainments.
The makers have officially sealed in a release date of November 14th. A Thursday release will allow the movie to cash in 4-day weekend benefit with Friday being a holiday (Guru Purnima).
They also released second look of Varun Tej where he appears in a retro-themed outfit, and the get-up represents 80s style. Looks macho, he is seen smoking a cigarette. The actor will be seen in 4 different get-ups in the movie.
The final schedule of Matka is in full swing. The movie features Meenakshi Chaudhary and Nora Fatehi in female lead roles.
