We have officially entered the Election year. The notification may arrive the next month itself. Jagan Mohan Reddy is busy pressing the buttons while the Opposition strongly believes that they can pull down this Government.
The belief of the TDP and Janasena supporters strengthened even more after the BRS Government was brought down in Telangana.
Jagan is similar to KCR in many ways. KCR invested significantly in Development and Infrastructure and that is not the case with Jagan.
But like KCR, Jagan believed so much in welfare schemes.
Many believe that KCR was too arrogant and unreachable and that led to his downfall, Jagan is no different.
Government employees were upset with KCR and worked against BRS in the elections, the anger on Jagan in these sections is even more worse.
The middle-class and upper-middle middle-class were happy with KCR to some extent due to his focus on Development and employment generation.
But then, it is also not the case with Jagan.
The average citizen of Andhra Pradesh is worried about the future of the state with zero development, crumbling infrastructure, increasing unemployment, no focus on investments, growing debts, and many other problems.
The state that was stranded with no capital during the bifurcation remains the same even ten years later. The credit for this must go to Jagan Mohan Reddy.
There is a significant population that believes Jagan has to go home or else the state will turn into South India’s Bihar very soon.
It looks like Jagan is already in Panic mode given the hurried changes he is making in the candidates for 2024.
So, all these factors combined, 2024 may emerge as a ‘Change’ year for Andhra Pradesh, people believe. Let us see how things pan out in the next three months!
