Ajeya Kallam Petition Against CBI In High Court

Ajeya-KallamFormer IAS officer Ajeya Kallam Reddy has made a significant development in Viveka’s murder case by filing a writ petition in the Telangana High Court. He claimed that the CBI’s statement on the case is entirely fabricated and filled with lies.

According to Ajeya Kallam, the CBI recorded his statement on April 29, 2023, but later twisted his words and misrepresented the facts in the charge sheet. In his petition, Ajeya Kallam requested a fair and unbiased investigation into the matter. He clarified that he had explained the actual events of the day of Viveka’s murder to the CBI, but they altered his statement in the charge sheet.

He also emphasized that he never mentioned the names of Jagan’s wife or others during the CBI investigation. The CBI has labeled all the charges in the charge sheet as false.

Ajeya Kallam’s petition aims to have the High Court consider his plea and strike out the inaccuracies present in the charge sheet, which were misattributed to him.

After retiring as Chief Secretary, Ajeya Kallam was appointed as the Chief Advisor to the Government by the Andhra Pradesh Government. It was reported that his annual salary in this position is up to 30 lakhs.

However, despite his high salary and prominent role as the Chief Advisor to Chief Minister Jagan, he allegedly faced neglect. Nevertheless, Ajeya Kallam’s tenure was extended again on the 15th of the previous month.
