It is known that the government of Andhra Pradesh has been going unnecessarily aggressively against the Amaravati project.
They’ve recently commenced an R-5 zone in Amaravati where they allotted the lands originally belonging to Amaravati farmers to outsiders. They vowed to build houses for outsiders here.
The high court of Andhra Pradesh had issued an interim order, asking the government not to proceed with the construction of the houses here till further notice.
The government of Andhra Pradesh then moved the Supreme Court against issue, asking the court to give a stay order on the high court purser. Their idea is to carry on with the construction of the houses in the area.
However, the supreme court has refused to issue a stay order on the same.
“There are many complications in this case. We can’t pass an imminent stay order now. A detailed investigation needs to be held.” The court stated.
This comes as a shock to Jagan in this key Amaravati case as he can’t proceed with his R-5 plan now.
