Amaravati 2.0: Public Support Got Stronger!

Amaravati land pooling public support

Amaravati faced a very detrimental situation during the YSRCP regime as the then CM Jagan gave unjust treatment to the capital region and its people. But things are getting back on track in Amaravati with the resurrection of the TDP+ government.

Nevertheless, YSRCP has been trying to spread a campaign against Amaravati by labelling it as an economically dead project, which would take ₹2 lakh crore to complete. This is not just an attempt to deter companies from investing here, but also leave the local public panicked as the government is preparing for the second phase of land pooling.

But it appears that despite the best effort of the YSRCP ecosystem to deter the Amaravati, the local public are clearly backing it.

Reportedly the second phase of land pooling that was initiated by urban minister Narayana yesterday had a unanimously positive reaction from the public.

The government was able to secure as much as 1000 acres from landholders in Tullur region in Amaravati in a single day yesterday. This is an overwhelming indication of the fact that the public is clearly backing Amaravati and looking to make adequate sacrifices to make it happen.

The legislation of the Amravati capital in the Parliament and the rock solid stand taken by the government have created adequate trust amongst the public and it’s reflecting in the second phase of land pooling.
