The Andhra Pradesh government has completed the recent DSC recruitment and appointment process within two years of coming to power. The NDA government has highlighted the exercise as an important step towards strengthening teacher recruitment in the state.
The previous YCP government was in power from 2019 to 2024. According to the government, it did not complete a single DSC recruitment drive during its five-year term.
In contrast, the new NDA government has been proactive about the recruitment process and completed the latest DSC exercise. However, the YCP camp in Andhra Pradesh has been accused of spreading misleading information about the recruitment process.
In this context, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu had reportedly given a warning to Nara Lokesh when appointing him as the Education Minister. Nara Lokesh spoke about the incident in the council today.
“The day Chandrababu Garu gave me the position of Education Minister, he warned me that I must be dedicated to the job. He asked me to study all the education principles in the world and prepare a clear roadmap, which I followed. He might have seen it as a sweet warning, but I took it very seriously and wanted to be the very best,” Lokesh said.
Lokesh added that the entire DSC recruitment and appointment process was completed in a straightforward and transparent manner. He described it as an important step towards improving teacher recruitment in the state.
He further said that more DSC recruitment drives will be conducted in the future. Lokesh also asked aspiring teachers to remain fully prepared for the opportunities ahead.
CM నాకు Sweet Warning ఇచ్చారు… నేను చాలా Seriousగా తీసుకున్నా
ఒక్క Complaint వచ్చినా వదిలిపెట్టనని CM @ncbn చెప్పారు.
