The government of Andhra Pradesh was able to successfully complete the DSC examination and fulfilment recently within the first couple of years of coming to power.
This has clearly rattled the YCP administration as they appear to be suspecting public approval for the government for executing the DSC, which is something Jagan failed at over a period of 5 years.
As a trigger response to this, the YCP has been extensively protesting against the DSC nomination, despite the fact that it has been a fair few months since the completion of the same.
A related attempt to protest against this took to the street last week as several YCP leaders flocked the streets. But without YS Jagan on the ground, none of these efforts from YCP could feel yield results.
The more important factor here is that there is absolutely zero public connect to this protest that is being fabricated by the YCP administration. This was evident with the lack of public support that was seen at the protest last week.
There is a political criticism that YCP is fighting a lost battle by bringing up this DSC examination, which does not have a negative impression amongst the public in the first place. So the longer this gets dragged, the more artificial it could look and that’s not a positive sign for the YCP leadership.
