AP Police Notices to Ram Gopal Varma

Indecent posts case seems to be haunting Ram Gopal Varma. On the matter, Prakasam district’s Ongole rural police have issued notices to RGV.

The police have said that RGV must present himself on Feb 4 through whatsapp notice. However, it is said that RGV replied saying he cannot make it on Feb 4 due to shootings.

RGV is said to considering appearing on February 7, the sources say. In the past, RGV was issued notices twice. He approached High Court and got an anticipatory bail.

However, the Court made it clear that RGV must be available for questioning by the police. Based on this, the police issued notices once again.

It is alleged that Varma made offensive and indecent posts on social media prior to 2024 elections, during the release of his film Vyuham, against TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu and Janasenasena chief Pawan Kalyan.




Prakasam district’s Maddipadu mandal TDP mandal secretary Ramalingaiah filed a case against RGV in the matter. Based on this, the police filed a case on RGV.
