AP BJP To Get A New Chief?

BJP-Y-Satya-KumarThe national BJP leadership has initiated the search for a new state BJP president, with a specific focus on the Telugu states, to compensate for the party’s losses in the northern regions during the upcoming elections.

The BJP is determined not to miss any opportunity in these two states and is actively seeking a leader who can safeguard the party’s interests in Andhra Pradesh (AP) and propel it forward with effective strategies.

According to reports, Satyakumar is currently leading the search conducted by the BJP leadership. Satyakumar previously served as Venkaiah Naidu’s assistant and chief secretary, starting from Naidu’s early days until he became the Vice President.

Satyakumar has also contributed to the BJP’s campaign efforts in Uttar Pradesh as a National Secretary. His strong connections with key national leaders of the party, including Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari, and JP Nadda, further strengthen his candidacy.

The national BJP leadership appears to have lost confidence in the current AP President, Somu Veerraju. It is believed that the leadership in Delhi perceives Veerraju as jeopardizing the party’s interests due to personal preferences and self-interest.

The state BJP is divided into two factions, with some leaders indirectly supporting YS Jagan of the YSRCP, while others are aligned with the Telugu Desam Party. It is evident that the BJP requires a leader who can effectively coordinate and unite all factions within the party to lead and expand its presence in the state.
