AP Govt Drops Ten Criminal Cases on YSRCP MLA

Samineni Udhaya bhanuAndhra Pradesh government has dropped ten cases against government whip, Krishna district Jaggayyapeta YSR Congress MLA Samineni Udayabhanu. The trial of these ten cases is currently in various stages in the state-level special court set up in Vijayawada to hear the cases registered against the people’s representatives.

The government on Friday issued orders withdrawing all of them at once. On March 23 this year, the Home Ministry issued dismissal orders on the basis of proposals received from the DGP. To this effect, the government has directed the DGP to file petitions with the public prosecutor in the respective courts.

In one case, he has been charged with illegally detaining some people who are conducting a survey. Another case is obstruction of duties of R&B AEE while clearing encroachments at Jaggayyapeta NTR Circle. Both these cases are filed in Jaggayyapeta Police Station.

Apart from them, some other cases registered at Jaggayyapeta station, Vatsavai, Nandigama, and Chillakallu Police stations have been dropped.
