
Andhra Pradesh High Court has given directions to Andhra Pradesh government regarding social media posts. Justice Nyapati Vijay directed the government to ‘auto-block’ abusive language on social media platforms.
The High Court asked the state government to flag obscene language, online trolling, abusive language and control/ stop their usage on social media.

Misusing the freedom of speech and expression, many stoop real low to abuse an opponent or simply another social media user. Thanks to usage of such language in popular media, the youth and even children are using them without blinking.
In fact, during one of his speeches during Mahanadu, Nara Lokesh spoke about discontinuing phrases like gajulu todukunnavu, cheera kattukunnava, etc, in regular usage.

The AP High Court ruling reflects similar sentiments, but given its observations has come up with a suggestion to curtail cuss words usage on all social media platforms.
If the Chandrababu government which takes pride in being IT forward can achieve it, then it will be a case study for other states.
