AP High Court Chandrababu Naidu Bail

Andhra Pradesh High Court has granted Regular Bail for Former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu in the Skill Development Case. Justice T Mallikarjuna Rao pronounced the Judgment on Monday Afternoon.

The judge also revoked the previous conditions imposed on addressing Political Gatherings from November 29th. Naidu is currently on interim bail until the 26th of this month. And this regular bail means he need not surrender on the 26th.

Earlier Supreme Court Senior Advocate Siddharth Luthra argued for Chandrababu’s bail and AAG Ponnavolu Sudhakar Reddy represented the APCID. Both of them gave elaborate arguments about the bail. The court reserved the judgment on November 16th.

The Government will certainly appeal to the Supreme Court against this judgment.

Also, there are other cases where there are petitions by Chandrababu for Anticipatory Bail. But then, the Government already promised the Courts that they would not arrest Chandrababu until the petitions were disposed of. And so, there is no danger of arrest immediately.

Meanwhile, the Supreme Court has reserved its judgment on the Quash Petition for more than a month now. If Chandrababu gets relief in that, all the cases will go all at a time making him free of all legal obligations.
