Following the high-profile arrest and judicial remand of political commentator and YouTuber Bachalakuri Joseph, known as “Prashna” Raavan, Andhra Pradesh police conducted extensive searches at his residence in Aminpur, Sangareddy district.
A special team from the Gannavaram Police Station executed the raids as part of a deeper probe into controversial political statements and newly invoked statutory charges.
During the late-night operations, personnel thoroughly scanned the premises and documented the process via video recordings. Law enforcement officials confiscated critical electronic devices, storage units, laptops, and undocumented records to analyze digital trails. Raavan’s wife, B. Anusha, was questioned regarding the channel’s administrative operations and recent content production.
These searches followed Raavan being booked under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) and standard BNS provisions. With the YouTuber currently held in judicial custody at the Nellore Central Prison as of July 2026, police are fast-tracking the evidentiary compilation. The seized digital assets and documentation will be submitted to the Gannavaram Additional Junior Civil Court to support the state’s prosecution.
