The legislative council of Andhra Pradesh opened on a very strong note today with the ruling NDA and opposition YSRCP groups indulging in heated debates.
The most prevalent fight of the day happened between TDP, senior leader and Cabinet minister Atchannaidu and YSRCP veteran Botsa Satyanarayana, as the two of them had a go at each other.
What started off as a regular session with a discussion on the DSC fulfilment, and the subsequent allegations made by the YCPA regarding the misdeed in the same took a drastic turn.
Atchannaidu said Botsa Satyanarayana was an incapable education minister, who could not even get a simple DSC notification from the then CM Jagan Mohan Reddy but he now has the audacity to speak about the DSC fulfilment by the NDA government.
In this exchange, Atchannaidu referred to Botsa as “Eddu” (Buffalo) and the latter reacted to the same by calling him a “Daddamma”. The choice of words was understandably very poor here.
The council had a full blown fallout between the ruling and opposition factions regarding the DSC notification and the fulfilment.
