The highly prestigious Bhogapuram airport is going to be launched by the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi in a matter of few hours. This event is going to be held tomorrow, August 1, and the stage is set for the same.
All eyes are firmly locked on this Bhogapuram airport, which is going to be one of the hallmark traveling and logistical hub for the state. The government is fully prepared for the launch ceremony and also the commencement of operations shortly after.
While there is so much development and progress that is happening with regard to this YSRCP is still stuck at a phase where they’re pushing for false credit.
Botsa Satyanarayana sat in front of the media today and he spoke about how a big portion of the credit for this airport must go to YS Rajasekhar Reddy and then to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Botsa said it was late YSR, who conceptualised this project in the first place, and had a big aspirations for the same. He says this was further carried out by YS Jagan, who operated with the principle of developing a class capital near Vizag.
It is evident that YSRCP top leadership is out on the mission to push Jagan, as the main man behind the construction of this airport project. The reality is blatantly different as it was Chandrababu Naidu who initiated the project before 2019 and it is he who completed the project now in 2026.
While Andhra Pradesh is witnessing such significant progress and development, this illicit credit war is painting the worst possible picture. But alas, the working mechanisms of YSRCP are outrightly different, opined a political expert.
