Enforcement Directorate officials conducted simultaneous searches at 10 locations, including the residences of YSRCP MP Avinash Reddy and YCP leader Devireddy Shankar Reddy.
The searches are part of an ongoing investigation into alleged money laundering and suspicious financial transactions. The operations were carried out across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
During the searches, officials reportedly gathered documents and details related to financial transactions and assets. The developments have now added another layer of scrutiny around Avinash Reddy.
While the CBI investigation into the Vivekananda Reddy murder case has continued, the ED action brings financial allegations into focus. The latest searches could therefore create fresh concerns for Avinash Reddy and the wider YCP camp.
Considering Avinash Reddy’s close political association with YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the ED searches are likely to be closely watched within the YCP ecosystem.
